We construct an asymmetric bouncing scenario within the VCDM model - also known as type-II minimally modified gravity -, a theory with two local physical degrees of freedom. The is exempt any ghost or gradient instability, ad-hoc matching conditions anisotropic stress issue (BKL instability). It moreover succeeds in generating cosmological perturbations compatible observations. scalar spectral index can be adapted by choice equation state matter sector and form potential leading to almost scale-invariant power spectrum. Satisfying CMB bounds on tensor-to-scalar ratio leads blue tensor
